For the second year in a row, CBC has been named the most trusted Media and Entertainment brand in Canada by the 2020 Gustavson Brand Trust Index. The Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria houses the Gustavson Brand Trust index—a national, in-depth analysis of which brands are most trusted by Canadians. The Gustavson Brand Trust Index was established to raise awareness of the role that trust plays in the minds of consumers when making purchasing decisions, based on the belief that trust is both the glue that holds a society together and the lubricant that enables it to function. 2020 marks the sixth year of the Gustavson Brand Trust Index study. The data for this survey was compiled both pre and post COVID-19.
