Synopsis

À cœur battant is set in a community organization that works with men who have committed acts of violence against their wives, children or parents, and even their friends or colleagues.

Christophe and Gabrielle dream of a world that is no longer rife with such “normalized” violence, but struggle to separate the issue from their own personal and antagonistic history. Will they ever come to understand each other?
