Synopsis

SWAN SONG plunges viewers inside one of the world's leading ballet companies as it mounts a monumental and legacy-defining new production of Swan Lake - directed by global ballet legend Karen Kain on the eve of her retirement. The intimate, visually spectacular series closely follows Kain and a group of young dancers at the National Ballet of Canada, weaving in their revelatory personal stories as they race toward the highest-stakes opening night in the company's 70-year history.
